In today’s world, we spend so much of our time by default. By default I mean the time we spend performing our day-to-day tasks; some are essentials for us and some are not.

The thing that I feel I spend a lot of time on by default is in every 5 minutes I will check my notification that did I get any notifications from Twitter. I feel this temporary because of my sudden growth from 20 to 40+followers.

This is the reason why I said Dylan AKA @growthcurrency that I am happy that I am not as popular as him.

“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.” — William Penn

Not all of us have 24 hrs in a day

There is a very famous argument that everyone has 24 hours in a day but that’s not true. Many of us have things we don’t desire to do but have to.

In the example of me, if I want to improve my notion skills or writing skills I cannot put 24 hrs of the day. I still will have to give my school classes, study for it and sleep too. For some of you, it would be jobs or some workload.

How to make time

So, the question that arises is how should I make time to do the things I want.

Choose Your Highlight

The first step is to know what you are going to do. Choose the goals that you want to achieve in your day.

Block Your Calendar

The second step is to know when to do your highlights. The best way to tackle it is by blocking your calendar. Schedule all the things that you want to do in your day even little stuff.

Be intentional with the things that you’re blocking, be very specific.

Log Out

“You get distracted because you want to be disctracted. We ourselves crave for distraction.”

In today’s world, the reason why we are so distracted is that we want to be distracted. You have kept your Twitter notifications on and you have purchased the NetFlix subscription.

Log out from all the services of distraction and delete the distracting apps. Make it as hard as possible for you to again get to your distraction.
